Serving Our Nation offers hope in the darkness through two guests each week who demonstrate servant leadership. In its fourth episode, Rev. Dr. McCullough hosted Rear Admiral (Retired) W. Kent Davis and Honorable Ken Wong. Both guests discussed how they serve others veterans and service members, through their respective roles as a senior military officer who became commissioner of the Alabama Department of Veteran Affairs and business owner, Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army, and board member. These senior leaders demonstrated how generosity, putting others first, and carefully balancing the needs of work and family lead to abundant blessings, for themselves and others. The second episode of Serving Our Nation, hosted by Rev. Dr. Paul McCullough, features two guests who are Paul’s friends and servant leaders in the veteran and military community. Nicole AmelioCasper speaks on how she uses her work in making documentaries to share the stories of veterans who are unheard and misunderstood. Nicole also helps female homeless veterans at a nonprofit called Haven Women, through grant writing and spending time with the residents. Kristin Leone discussed her role as the VP of HAVEN, as well as her work as a nurse, naval officer, and the host of a tv show called Breaking Barriers. The message of these women emphasizes that people can be servant leaders in any walk of life, and when you focus on serving others, God blesses you abundantly.

The inaugural show of Serving Our Nation, hosted by Rev. Dr. Paul McCullough, features two guests who are Paul’s friends and servant leaders in different walks of life. Honorable Patrick J. Murphy speaks on how he got his start as a servant leader, 25 years ago at King’s College, and how he built upon that to become the first Iraq War Veteran elected to Congress and the 32nd Under Secretary of the Army. Pastor Phil Caporale talks about his role in developing the next generation of servant leaders through Kingsway Leadership School. The message of these leaders emphasizes that people can be servant leaders in any walk of life, and when you focus on serving others, God blesses you abundantly.
